Divine Indwelling, Lord's Leaven Mission Society's Way of Life

Lord’s Leaven Mission is a society of trained and commissioned volunteers that help oneself and other individuals to become mature in their union with God within them and are enabled to share their spiritual and temporal gifts with each other in a cooperative manner according to the Gospel for the unity of persons in their families, in their ecclesial communities in the parish, and in other parishes for the Greater Glory of God and the good of all.

They live their life in the Mission always from the vantage point of the Divine Indwelling Union with God within themselves and in the spirit of others. Through unceasing Divine Indwelling Contemplation a Lord’s Leaven forms the habit of always being present to God who in spirit is present in the soul of the baptized. This is the key to open all the treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge. (Col 2:2-3)

They live their life characterized by their virtues of faith, humility, obedience, prudence and love. Faith is based on their knowledge of and surrender to the Word of God simply because God said it. Humility makes them consider that they can do nothing if not coming from God from within them for “in Him we live, in Him we move and in Him we have our being.” (Acts 17:28) Their obedience primarily serves the Word of God following the teaching of Jesus Our Lord. Prudence requires them to communicate and consult with the authorities designated by Canon Law to guide the Society, namely the Bishop, the Spiritual Director, the Global Shepherd of the Society and those who are commissioned to shepherd them. Especially in important matters that affect the families and communities, prudence is most in demand. Individuals and especially those who consider themselves “leaders” are obliged to exercise prudence before they make decisions and not to make major decisions without consulting their superiors.

Their constant guide in their dealing with one another in the Mission is the Constitution of the Lord’s Leaven Mission Society Spirituality and Governance principles that they constantly walk through the Constitution of the Lord’s Leaven Mission Society that is approved by the Church.

They live the Lord’s Leaven Process of Evangelization Contemplation, Meditation and Evangelization practicum towards the formation of Cenacles and Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC). This process makes an individual grow and mature in one’s understanding and realization of “the kingdom of God on earth.”

Lord’s Leaven Members are trained by qualifying themselves in the different Lessons and Courses of Spirituality and Temporality Programs of the Pastoral Management Institute (PMI). These lessons are based on Scriptures, the teachings of the Doctors and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, Spiritual Theology and other Subjects.

They pursue programs that implement the Functions of Christ as Steward, Priest, Prophet and King according to their need in their Basic Ecclesial Communities taking their PMI lessons and training in their Cenacles.

After their training they are commissioned on the lesson that they qualify and they are assigned to facilitate and form Cenacle BEC Communities in a parish   to help people to “stand up and walk.”

(Acts 3:6-7)  Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk!” Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up….
